Get involved in the conversation on the future direction of the Cultural Forum.
The Cultural Forum celebrated its third anniversary in March this year and lot has happened since we first gathered together in 2016.
There’s been our bid to be UK City of Culture, the creation of a Cultural Strategy, the launch of our amazing Cultural Champions and the development and launch of Stoking Curiosity.
By joining together we’ve achieved a lot. But we’re not done yet. The Forum has a vital and much needed role to play going forward. But we all need to be clear on what that role is and have a chance to shape it.
That’s why we’re staging a series of conversations on the future direction and purpose of the Forum.
The first conversation took place on the 16th July. The conversation starter was “The Cultural Forum – is it time for change?” You can see a summary of that conversation here
The second conversation will take place on the 3rd September from 6pm at The Mitchell Arts Centre. The conversation starter for this session is “The Cultural Forum – what are we about?”. This session will be an opportunity to talk about the purpose and vision of The Forum. Get involved by booking on at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/stoke-on-trent-cultural-forum-26178784649
If you can’t make the meeting, there’ll be other ways to share your insight and thoughts.Keep following @SOTculture to keep up to date and involved
